I grew up in a household that looked down on the expression of women's sexuality and I have heard people shame women for dancing in ways that celebrated their bodies for years. I started Bloom to spread my message with Ottawa: Women are sexual beings and they should be celebrated, not stigmatized. Since then, Bloom has grown and now aims to empower individuals to embrace their sensuality through dance programs, community events, and live performances.
